We support Trees For Cities
A huge number of projects have been completed!
We support Trees For Cities and since last year they have planted 6,250 new trees in Reading & Leeds in 2011-12 engaging over 850 people.
The improved canopy cover has increased the capacity of these urban areas to adapt to a changing climate whilst promoting community cohesion and ownership of the trees. This will ensure the new trees’ survival so that they can provide maximum benefit to city residents for generations.
Trees For Cities planted 1,056 trees in Reading and engaged over 850 volunteers and participants in 2011 and 2012.
