Latitude 2012 is nearly upon us
With less than two weeks left to go until the seventh edition of the UK’s favourite multi-arts festival, we are proud to announce that all advance day tickets for Saturday 14th July at Latitude 2012 have completely sold out! There will be a limited amount of Saturday day tickets available from the onsite box office.Those lucky festival goers already holding Saturday day tickets will be heading to Latitude to see the incredible headliners Elbow plus music from the likes of Laura Marling, Richard Hawley, The Horrors, SBTRKT and many many more.
There are still weekend tickets, Friday only and Sunday only day tickets available so book yours now and ensure you are one of the thousands of revellers there to witness an amazing weekend of music, comedy, theatre, dance, film, fashion and more! With Bon Iver and Paul Weller set to headline Friday and Sunday respectively and special Sunday performances from Rufus Wainwright and his bandand concert pianist Lang Lang, Latitude 2012 promises to be a weekend never to forget.

Latitude once again promises to provide an unrivalled atmosphere and range of entertainment. With a hugely diverse and ever expanding programme, revellers can expect to be treated to delights including Matthew Bourne’s Early Adventures, Sadler’s Wells and National Theatre productions onThe Waterfront Stage, stand-up from Jack Dee, Brian Cox, Tim Minchin in the Comedy Arena; the new film by Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller andNick Abraham in the Film & Music Arenaandrare appearances from esteemed writers Siri Hustvedt and Iain Banks in theLiterary Arena. Plenty moreunique experiences can also be enjoyed across the weekend – highlights include spectacular Hoedowns hosted by funny-man Rich Hall and queen of white trash Tina C, with Duckie’s pop-up Rosette and Gingham workshopat hand to help partygoers prepare. There will bethePagan To Occupy themeandHome Live Art’s Alternative Village Fete in The Faraway Forest and tons of fun to be had for all the family with the likes of Noisy Toys in the Children’s Arena and Cultureworks in The Inbetweeners Area. On top of all that there will also be delicious food from Latitude’s own sit down restaurant, the Giant Robot.
2012 also sees the launch of an adventurous new way of travelling to the festival. The Tour de Latitude encourages ticket holders to reduce their carbon footprint by cycling their way to the site, whilst also raising funds for the Kenyan Orphan Project and Julie's Bicycle.
