The Little Big Tent is sure to pulse from every end in deep dub tremors and exhilarating cosmic glitches from the brightest stars in electronic production. 2012’s Little Big Tent promises this year’s Electric Picnic to be fully charged.

Co-founder of New York’s DFA records and best known for being part of the now defunct LCD Soundsystem, producer JAMES MURPHY will make his way to Stradbally for 2012 for a much anticipated DJ set, which will be his first time on Irish shores since LCD Soundsystem disbanded in April 2011. Also joining him for DJ sets of their own at Electric Picnic are DFA Record's comrades THE JUAN MACLEAN and former LCD Soundsystem band mate PAT MAHONEY. Renowned for his DJ sets full of originality and for his love of all things disco, this show will be truly unmissable.

Polaris prize winner CARIBOU, entranced Picnicers in 2010 and will make his return to Stradbally in a very special back to back DJ set with London producer FOUR TET. With a string of international, jam-packed festival appearances already this year, Daniel Victor Snaith aka Caribou has always proven himself a psychedelic crowd pleaser. Kieran Hebden aka. Four Tet, wowed the Stradbally crowd in ‘09 and his new album Pink is set for release this August, a follow up to the stunning There Is Love You. A marriage of boundary pushers, prepare for them to propel the Picnic to a whole new stratosphere.

Post-dupstep Scotsman RUSTIE makes his Picnic debut for the 2012 Little Big Tent with a live performance. The genre-merging maestro released the highly acclaimed Glass Swords on Warp Records in 2011, grabbing the Guardian's first album award. Make sure to catch the Glaswegian’s big bass drops hypnotize the Picnic all night…

Also hailing from Scotland is insatiable experimenter, HUDSON MOHAWKE who began his music career at just 15 when he was the youngest finalist in the UK DMC (World DJ Competition). His debut album Butter gave him the title as the ‘future of R&B’ and his impatiently anticipated ‘TNGHT’ EP with Lunice is set to pour out five mammoth, floor-filling bangers. It’s no wonder his talents are being utilized by the likes of Kanye West and one can expect enigmatic R&B glitches & glossy soul rhythms during his DJ set in Stradbally.

Canadian duo JUNIOR BOYS will add some sparkling synth to the Picnic this September. The pair are doing a huge European and American tour this summer and will be making an all too necessary stop at the Little Big Tent. With four genre-bending albums already under their belt, the Hamilton duo are beloved for their invigorating live sets, which will soothe Picnicers itchy feet…and fingers…

Orlando Higginbottom, aka TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS is one English producer making quite the name for himself. DJ W!LD is now a regular fixture of it all: the hottest international clubs and festivals, the leading labels and the best mixes. Make sure to get to the Little Big Tent to see him unhinge the crowd under his deep, dark, house vibes.

A favourite at last year’s Picnic, the prodigious MMOTHS will repay a visit to Stradbally this year. When most Leaving Certificate students were rejoicing over cans in a park at their results, Jack Colleran was offered a deal from Los Angeles’ label SQE Records and has already supported marvels such as Aphex Twin. Catch him once again lure Stradbally into an ambient, electric-woven dream.

They sent their native Irish crowd into 80s tinged tech palpations in 2011 and now synth champions LE GALAXIE have been called back to the Picnic. Their latest EP, Fade 2 Forever is gathering rave reviews and they are sure to give another electric performance upon their return.

Gavin White and Mark Cummins first met at Primavera Sound festival, two talented Dublin-lads, their musical union was inevitable and they are now seen in the form of WHITE COLLAR BOY. They just dropped ‘Otherwise’ and it’s a good thing too because Dublin based SUBALTERN are set for big things. Alex Lawes and Sean Merrigan are a recent, electronic duo that will take their fresh off the boat productions to this year’s Little Big Tent.

The charming sounds of ORQUESTA will make a stop at this years Picnic. ORQEUSTA aka Orlando Fitzgerald has held an array of residences at Dublin nightclubs including his own ‘True Stories’ at the Bernard Shaw. A tropical tune-maker Lan guarantees to cause quite a stir on the Picnic dance floor.

LIL DAVE is a founding father of the Nightflight Collective which has been responsible for many great parties in Dublin over the last 4 years as well as The Airbound Festival which has held parties in Croatia, Berlin and London. His music taste spans Disco, House and Techno with a solid element of fun throughout.

Dublin based, T3 DJs (Connor Rainey, Doug Cooney, Philip Galvin Jnr) always set a crowd alight having supported the likes of Seth Troxler and Steve Lawler to name a few. An infectious set is promised by the trio for this years dance floor.

Bringing over the likes of Francois K, Lindstrom and Nicolas Jaar for shows this year, HIDDEN AGENDA DJs will deliver a set full of their influences at the Picnic. Always packing out Dublin dance floors they’ll keep Little Big Tent goers well on their toes.
